The Montafon is in the south of Vorarlberg, and the south west end of Austria. It is surrounded by three mighty mountain ranges: To the north west are the striking chalk cliffs of the Rätikon, to the south you meet the crystalline central Alpine stone of the sometimes glaciated Silvretta and to the north east the Verwall. A wonderful region, which delights walkers and climbers! Whether easy, medium or more demanding half day, day and multiple day tours - in the mountain world of the Rätikon, the Verwall or the Silvretta your every wish is fulfilled.

Our tip:
The Hochjoch lift in Schruns takes you in the large cabins of the panoramic cable car and with the double chairlift, from the well known international summer spa town and winter sports location of Schruns-Tschagguns from 700 m to 2,300 m. On the Hochjoch, you can enjoy gorgeous panoramic views of 200 summits, and the view of Lake Constance in the distance, with all your senses.
